Ed Daly Summer 2019 is rapidly coming to an end. Cool nights and shorter days signal the coming of Fall. September also signals the resumption of several Hobbyist activities. Members that have summered away from home are returning, while those that get away from the cold weather have not yet departed. We should have terrific participation in the many activities the Hobbyists offer. Outdoor activities like bocce, golf, hiking, tennis and walking are in full swing. We may even get in another fishing trip. Of course, Habitat works year round. Bowling is the most subscriber sport and the new year is just beginning. Many of the clubs took the summer off and they will be back in full swing. Check the calendar for details. The Fall also brings activity luncheons and a great dinner dance at Seasons. So let’s try to be good between these events. We don’t want to begin the holiday season 5 or 10 pounds over-weight. Let’s have a really fun filled and safe Fall. Ed Daly |
